Akashic Records Reading
How It Works
Before Your Akashic Reading

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you have not consumed any alcohol for at least 24 hours before the session, and no illegal drugs for at least one week before your scheduled Akashic Records Reading.

Please have your questions written down ahead of time, and even say them out loud if that resonates with you. Taking some time to think about what you want to ask and writing the questions down let's your guides/spiritual team know that you are truly interested and ready to access that information. You can find question ideas and prompts under FAQ > Akashic Questions in the Main Menu at the top of this website.

This will usually lead to an "introductory message" from your Spiritual Team (Guides, Akashic Masters and Teachers, Loved Ones) at the beginning of the session. The introductory message may answer some of your questions upfront, but you can still ask more questions to dive a little deeper if you want.

It's also helpful (but not required) if you can take 5-10 minutes before the session to ground/center yourself through some breathing or meditation to get yourself into a calm and receptive state.

Please join the Zoom meeting 5-10 minutes prior to the session to make sure that you can connect. If you don't have Zoom on your computer, a web application will open in your browser and you can join from there. You will be waiting in the lobby, but can still make sure you microphone and video is set up correctly. I will join the Zoom meeting at our scheduled time and let you in.
During Your Akashic Reading

Once we're on the call, I'll briefly go over what to expect. Then I'll ask for your full legal name and ask for your permission to open your Akashic Records.

Then I'll lead you through some breathing to get us both centered and ready to go. It's important that you're open and receptive during the session, as this will allow me to channel the information from your records more easily. Don't worry though, this is what the breathing exercise beforehand is all about. This will take just a few minutes.
Opening Your Records & Channeling

Once we're on the call, I'll briefly go over what to expect. Then I'll ask for your full legal name and ask for your permission to open your Akashic Records.

Then I'll lead you through some breathing to get us both centered and ready to go. It's important that you're open and receptive during the session, as this will allow me to channel the information from your records more easily. Don't worry though, this is what the breathing exercise beforehand is all about. This will take just a few minutes.

I'll say the "opening verse" which will allow me to open your records, and then I'll begin the recording (Zoom allows us to record the meeting, which I will send to you after the session ends).

Once I say the opening verse, I will let you know that your records are open. At this point I'm channeling the information in your records through messages from your Spiritual Team. My personality (Ashley) steps aside to prevent my ego, thoughts/opinions, and beliefs from interfering and I become a clear and neutral channel -- like a radio, just delivering whatever information comes through for your highest good.

It can come through as images, physical feelings, emotions, and/or messages. It's often a combination of all of those, which can be a lot of information to deliver, and a lot for you to take in. This is why it can be helpful to go back after the session and re-listen to the recording.
The Intro Message

In the beginning, when I first start channeling, an introductory message from your spiritual team will usually come through. It's a message that usually indicates something important for your life right now and/or directly relates to the questions you've prepared for the session.

It can also be things you've been wondering or asking in the days/weeks prior to your session. You can ask questions about the information that comes through to gain more clarity if necessary.
Your Questions

Then I'll let you know the introduction message is finished and we'll get into the rest of your questions that you've prepared -- begin with whatever feels right. Sometimes you end up skipping around rather than going in the order you'd originally intended.

There are no rules here, so no worries. Please feel free to ask any questions you need to for more clarity. I can help with this during the session if you'd like. Toward the end of the session, I'll let you know it's about time to wrap up, and ask any last questions.
After Your Akashic Reading

Afterward your last question, I'll stop the recording and close your records. At this point I cease being a channel, and my personality comes back in. We'll discuss any questions you may have and then end the call/meeting.

I will send you an email shortly after the meeting with your recording (both audio and video).

Please save the recording to your computer or whatever works best for you (some options: make a copy and save it to your Google Drive, or use DropBox, etc).

You may want to go back and watch or listen to the recording a few days later, or maybe even a week or two later. People often notice details they may have missed or new information that just didn't completely make sense or sink in at the time of the reading. It's a lot of information to take in at one time.

It's recommended that you take some time to integrate the information received. Journaling can be helpful for some people, meditating and just taking some time to sit with the information can also be helpful. Again, it's whatever feels best to you!
